Return, Exchange, and Refund Policy

For our general Terms of Service, please see Terms and Conditions. Acceptance of our Terms of Service also implies explicit acceptance, without limit, of this policy and its terms.
We are here to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your experience. We will do everything possible to ensure you are comfortable with placing an order and happy with the products you receive. But we also know sometimes things happen. For one reason or another, you may need to return your products. In the case of a return, we have a few guidelines you should know about.
RETURNS / EXCHANGES
All products sold are new, unless otherwise stated in the product description. If the product is defective, MDI Outdoor will give you a full refund, including shipping costs if returned to our return center within 30 days from the order date. Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging, along with packing slip.
For all orders shipped back to our return center, please allow for 2-3 weeks for us to receive and process your return. Once the return is processed, you’ll get an email that your refund is being processed and a check will be sent.
- Any product, if unused / unopened, may be returned within 7 days for a full refund minus 20% handling and restocking fee. Returned items must be returned unused, in new, re-sellable condition with all hang tags attached, and original packaging.
- Orders cannot be cancelled once processed.
- Items purchased as gifts are subject to the Policy noted above.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.
- We will not accept products that have been abused or used for purposes other than intended. We will not accept products that have come in contact with harmful powders, liquids, heat sources, fire, and/or chemicals that degrade and/or destroy product fabrics / material.
- We will not accept permanently stained products.
- Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Any product that has been altered may not be returned (i.e. embroidery, branding, etc.).
- An MDI Outdoor product purchased through a third party, any product received as a ‘trial’ or promotional item, and item where any amount of the purchase price has been paid by or through a third party. For MDI Outdoor products purchased through third parties, please consult that seller’s return policy
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:
- Before initiating any return, or if you have any questions, we encourage you to contact MDI Outdoor Customer Service directly by email; provide your email address, mailing address, your order ID, the products being returned, and the reason for the return. If you are wanting an exchange for a different size or different product, state that as well.
- Write the Return Authorization Number, provided to you by MDI Outdoor Customer Service, on the outside of the package to be returned.
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you receive a refund due to a defect, the cost of return shipping, if any, will be refunded to you. Otherwise, shipping costs are nonrefundable.
- Once we receive your item at our return center, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, you will get an email that your refund is being processed. Please allow 2-3 weeks for us to receive and process your refund. Once the return is process, you’ll get an email that your refund is being processed and a check will be sent.
